We Love Reading books were chosen to be studied and leveled according to the appropriate standards for Arabic language curricula and children books leveling as a part of the Arabi 21 Project, a project launched by Arab Thought Foundation with lead support from King Abdul-Aziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) to advance methods of teaching and learning Arabic in response to the increasingly diverse needs of 21st century Arab individuals and communities.

Arabi 21 project purposes and working methods also includes building an electronic directory for children’s books classified by literacy levels according to internationally recognized standards and ratings, giving users access to abstracts and book choice easier and more appropriate, launching several initiatives to foster Arabic literacy amongst children and youth, and Urges as many Arab and international publishers as possible to adopt Dr. Hanada Taha and “Arabi 21” leveling standards to level their publications of Children’s books.

Dr. Hanada Taha has worked on the development of special classification criteria according to the nature of the Arabic language and written literature, taking into account the results of linguistic and knowledge research in this area.

The most important characteristics of Hanada Taha's classification criteria are: literary genre, text symbolism, vocabulary selection, text originality, contents and ideas, sentence structures, drawings and images.

In addition, 19 levels of Arabic children's literature have been identified with the specific characteristics of each level. The grades have been linked to the various levels in which they are expected to be read, and the student may move from one level to another during the academic year. The student is able to achieve fluency and raise the level of extraneous texts he reads.
