Taghyeer Organization (We love Reading) Received the Stars Impact Award 2015.

During the starts impact awards ceremony Dec,2015 at Palais des Congrès de Versailles, Paris, Taghyeer organization was recognized along with 8 organizations from the middle east and others from different countries for its work to foster the love of reading in children through a reading aloud social movement.

Visit to Uganda with OpenIdeo

In our visit to Uganda when OpenIDeo invited us to attend the boot camp, WLR members (Dr.Rana Al Dajani and Alaa Al Zaghoul) were able to have a meeting with Mr.Magoba the broadcaster of Dorka radio station in Uganda who has created "Diamond magazine" the brain child of WLR idea as he told us in an email, he added that creating this magazine through We Love Reading idea shows how adaptable our idea is.

Litworld Director Pam Allyn and Executive Board member Chernor Bah visit "We Love Reading"

Pam Allyn the director of Litworld suggested to Chernor Bah the distinguished Executive Board member of Litworld who were visiting Jordan for a Global Youth Summit to visit We Love Reading with his partner Assatou.

They have considered their visit to WLR to be their best stop in Jordan as they have enjoyed the story of We Love Reading being told by Dr.Rana Dajani as they described it as a "Powerful Story" .

First issue of We Love Reading Community Magazine

The “We Love Reading Community “ is a magazine that the Taghyeer Organization has produced in order to form long-lasting connections between the entrepreneur of the Jordanian society and the volunteer-storytellers who work to spread the love of reading in every neighborhood of our beloved country. By providing the right environment for them to open up and share their incredible stories of success as well as the challenges that they overcame to help the biggest group of people benefit from their personal experiences.

We Love Reading initiative/ Taghyeer Organization attends workshop on evaluating social programs at MIT

 Representatives from We Love Reading initiative/ Taghyeer Organization attended – through a US embassy in Amman grant - a five day workshop on evaluating social programs in Cambridge, Massachusetts during June 15th till the 19th. The workshop took place at the Abdul Lateef Jameel Poverty Action Lab locatedat the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where it discussed the definition and importance of evaluating social programs using the Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT) method.

We Love Reading has recently partnered with the Perse a leading school in Cambridge England to start the first We Love Reading program in the UK.

From a small inquiry about an internet password at an education lecture at Cambridge University… a new partnership emerged…
