In the challenge to preserve the civilization and inherited culture, this challenge motivated Raghad to turn to reading for children to introduce them to their heritage. She developed more than five children’s stories, using illustrations specifically aimed at documenting heritage.<\/p>\n
Raghad Jouhar, a WLR ambassador in Syria, she is an engineer and visual artist. She utilized the We Love Reading online training to achieve her goal of conducting aloud reading sessions for children, focusing on stories that narrate intangible Syrian heritage and passing it on to the younger generation of children and adolescents. She noticed that the storytelling approach, free from rote memorization, successfully captured the children’s attention\u2014a fact she observed when the children began eagerly awaiting the reading sessions.<\/p>\n
Raghad’s ideology stems from her belief, especially in what we are living today, in the necessity of preserving heritage, which serves as a source of identity.
