As part of its commitment to promoting reading and fostering a culture of lifelong learning, We Love Reading participated in the BilArabi Festival 2026 at the Children’s Museum Jordan. Throughout the festival, visitors had the opportunity to explore We Love Reading’s books, learn more about the program, and discover how they can become Reading Ambassadors within their own communities.
Over three days, We Love Reading ambassadors led interactive reading sessions that brought stories to life for children and their families. Through storytelling, discussion, and engagement, the sessions encouraged imagination, curiosity, and a love of reading, while creating meaningful moments of connection between children and books.
The reading sessions featured:
* Day One: Rita Khatatbeh reading Shells of Freedom (صديقات الحرية)
* Day Two: Safaa Al-Abbasi reading Something Strange Indeed (شيء غريب فعلاً)
* Day Three: Dr. Rula Sunnuqrut reading Tomorrow I Will Be (غداً سأكون)
Alongside the reading sessions, the We Love Reading booth welcomed visitors interested in learning more about the initiative, browsing children’s books, and registering for ambassador training. The participation highlighted the power of stories to inspire children, strengthen communities, and create joyful learning experiences beyond the classroom.
We Love Reading will continue welcoming visitors at the BilArabi Festival until July 6, inviting families to join upcoming reading sessions and discover the impact that reading can have on children’s lives.
