We Love Reading program won the second place in the Leadership and Creativity Forum held by the University of Philadelphia for its second year in a row, under the patronage of University President Dr. Moataz Sheikh Salem. This coincided with the celebration of the International Day of Creativity. The forum focuses on being a sponsor of talented, talented and creative researchers, as well as supporting scientific research and serving the local community.
A group of projects were presented to a committee that included Dr. Raida Khalil (Chairman), Dr. Abeer Shenouda, Dr. Maha Al-Atout, Dr. Yazan Al-Zahir, Dr. Liqa Al-Hammouri, Dr. Amr Al-Sayed Ahmed, Engineer Rawan Jaafar, and Ms. Lian Jarra to evaluate them in terms of: Sponsoring education, learning, scientific research and creativity, supporting innovative ideas, projects and pioneering initiatives at the university and the local community, and providing an incubator conducive to transforming ideas into economic products or services that support sustainable development and the national economy.
Based on the committee’s evaluation, the engineer, Shahd Al-Ghazzawi, got the first place in the field of architecture, and the second place was won by Dr. Rana Dajani in the field of community service for a project We Love Reading, and the third place was shared equally, as Hamza Arabiyat and Omar Arafa got each in the field of information technology and Heba Zaki Darwish in the field of arts.
