Dr. Rana Dajani participated in the Women’s Socio-Economic Empowerment Forum that was held in Amman on the 30th and 31st of March, 2017. The Forum was organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jordan and the Institut de Prospective Economique du Monde Méditerranéen (IPEMED), and it aimed to outline a clear path to equip, empower and inspire Jordanian women.
The Forum included panels that discussed themes such as women in Parliament, science, media, and the economy, skills and competences for women to access jobs in the 21st century, the refugee crisis, and funding women entrepreneurship.
The conference holed to lay the grounds for addressing the factors limiting the involvement of Jordanian women in the economy, as well as build dialogue among successful Jordanian, Lebanese, and European women and offering training sessions to build 21st century competencies.
