The Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) has announced the selection of Prof. Rana Dajani as one of the 2024-2025 Chen Yidan Visiting Global Fellows. Prof. Dajani, a professor of molecular biology at the Hashemite University in Jordan, a Robert Bosch Fellow in Germany, and the founder of We Love Reading, will bring her expertise and visionary leadership to HGSE during a one- to two-week residency.
During her residency, Prof. Dajani will engage in various academic activities aimed at enriching the educational experience of HGSE students and faculty. She will teach a unique one-credit seminar, present a public lecture, and participate in networking opportunities with faculty and students, fostering an environment of collaboration and global understanding.
Prof. Dajani’s selection as a Chen Yidan Visiting Global Fellow reflects HGSE’s commitment to bringing diverse perspectives to the field of education. Through fostering collaboration across borders and cultural norms, the Chen Yidan Visiting Global Fellows program aims to prepare students for an increasingly globalized world. Prof. Dajani’s residency at HGSE will advance the community’s understanding of education in various contexts and promote the exchange of ideas across national borders.
