Based on our belief in the importance of building an ecosystem that supports lifelong learning and encourages individuals to read, search, and volunteer, We started our cooperation with the Jordanian government, on different projects, because building this ecosystem requires the concerted efforts of all stakeholders from civil society institutions, government institutions, and the private sector. Here are the main areas in which we cooperated with the Jordanian government:
National Reading Campaign
In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the We Love Reading program launched the national reading campaign on May 2022. The campaign included an interactive digital platform aimed at promoting the love of reading for fun in children and young people, training volunteers from the local community to read aloud to children.
The Minister of Culture, Haifa’a Al-Najjar, said, “We are all proud and happy that we are launching the We Love Reading platform, which is the result of effective partnership with this distinguished pioneering program that seeks to foster the heart and soul.”

The Interactive Book Fair
We Love Reading has participated in the interactive book fair organized by the Jordanian Ministry of Culture under the patronage of Minister Haifa Al-Najjar. We Love Reading participation came through its distinguished ambassadors in all Jordanian governorates, who held reading-aloud sessions for children within the book fair activities, each in their governorate. The book fair lasted for five weeks, and the total number of reading sessions held by our ambassador was 60 sessions. The interactive book fair comes within the vision of the Ministry of Culture to launch a national strategy to encourage reading in partnership with various governmental, private sectors, and civil society institutions.
