Hanan Al-Bawadi is a teacher in the United Arab Emirates and a We Love Reading ambassador. She has been actively engaged in holding reading sessions for children for the past two years, and her accomplishments have not ceased to grow.
And now we share Hanan’s remarkable achievement of writing a collection of children’s books titled “The Amazing Worlds of Marah.”
Hanan began writing the stories by linking reading with a subject that children are passionate about, which is space science. She noticed a lack of content related to science in children’s books, despite its popularity among children, and thus, she decided to create a comprehensive collection that introduces them to science through reading from a scientific orientation.
The themes of the books revolve around robotics, astronomy, and problem-solving, which aim to instill these values and ideas in children.
In addition, Hanan held a reading aloud session for the children about books from her collection, and she personally noticed a wonderful impact on the children during the session and observed their interaction with the story.
