Lina Qtaishat, Research Projects Manager at the We Love Reading Program, conducted two sessions on the Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping (FCM) methodology with students at Zayed University for both Dubai and Abu Dhabi campuses.
During these sessions, students were guided to map and visualize their understanding of the concepts of agency and life satisfaction. They also engaged in an in-depth discussion about the factors that impact these concepts. At the end of the session, the impact of the We Love Reading program on these systems was discussed, highlighting how the program drives change to the system.
Those sessions were part of the social innovation project led by Dr. Dina Tbaishat, in collaboration with Dr. Rana Dajani, the founder of We Love Reading Program. The project aims to create changemakers among Emirati women who became WLR Ambassadors by fostering the culture of reading aloud to children.
