Dr. Rana Dajani visited one of the school in the underprivileged neighborhoods of Cartagena Columbia on Feb 14. This was part of the Eisenhower Fellows Global conference on future of education. Along with other Eisenhower Fellows, Dr. Rana spoke with the students and teachers, visited the school library and donated children’s books to the school.
Dr. Rana is exploring starting We Love Reading in the school in Cartagena and neighboring communities.
Dr. Rana met with the First lady of Columbia and shared with the We Love Reading Program and the potential impact it has on children, women and the community as a whole.
