Jordan National Reading campaign

We are thrilled to invite you to attend the launch of the website for the Jordan national reading campaign. The Jordan national reading campaign is a cooperation between the Jordanian Ministry of Culture and the We Love Reading Program. It aims to change mindsets through reading to create change-makers in Jordanian society. The launch will be on Wednesday at 11:30 AM at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center in the Az-Zarqa governate.

At “We Love Reading” we believe in the effectiveness of establishing partnerships with government agencies and various civil society institutions, to achieve mutual benefit. Based on the mutual vision of the We Love Reading Program and the Ministry of Culture, and based on the recommendations of the Minister of Culture Mrs. Haifa Al-Najjar, the We Love Reading program has been transformed into a community movement by launching it as a Jordan national campaign.

The Jordan National Reading campaign is based on the following elements:

1- Digital Training: We Love Reading provides free online training in Arabic.

2-  Books and Stories: The trainees are provided and guided to the sources of books and stories, including the Jordanian Family Library, the libraries, and resources of the Ministry of Culture, and the stories developed within the We Love Reading program that discuss several societal issues.

3- Track the spread of the program and its application: An electronic platform has been developed to do this task to help ambassadors keep track of their sessions

4- A multimedia promotion campaign to reach the largest segment of society.
