A new book, “Thought: The Key to Change,” by Dr. Rana Dajani and Tait Gallagher, translated into Arabic by Khamila Al-Jundi, has recently been published. The book offers an in-depth perspective on the concept of change and the factors that influence the decisions we make when addressing social challenges and issues.
The book begins with a fundamental question about the meaning of success in the nonprofit and social impact sectors. It explores a range of factors that shape the way individuals think and make decisions, drawing on multiple fields such as language, human biology, and philosophy. It also examines how social problems can be understood differently in ways that contribute to developing more effective and sustainable solutions.
The book highlights the experience of We Love Reading as a guiding model, demonstrating how simple ideas, when rooted in a genuine understanding of communities and their needs, can become powerful tools for change and empower individuals to create meaningful impact within their communities.
