Dr. Rana Dajani, has been chosen to join the Skoll Fellowship. This prestigious program annually selects leaders in social innovation and change-making, providing them with a platform to connect, learn, and amplify their impact on critical global issues.
As a Skoll Fellow, Dr. Dajani will join a diverse cohort of social entrepreneurs from around the world, each bringing unique perspectives and expertise to the table. The fellowship emphasizes peer-to-peer support, creating a community where fellows can share experiences, tackle challenges, and collaborate on solutions.
The fellowship culminates in a gathering at the Skoll World Forum in Oxford, where Dr. Dajani recently had the opportunity to engage in discussions on two significant topics. In one session, she showcased the innovative work of We Love Reading (WLR) through the lens of the “neighborhood storyteller film,” highlighting the organization’s efforts to promote the reading for children in communities.
In another session, Dr. Dajani addressed the ongoing situation in Palestine, emphasizing the importance of collective action and support to make a meaningful impact. Where Skoll Fellows play strategic advisory roles supporting the Skoll Foundation’s global mission to center those most proximate to pressing issues.
The Skoll Fellowship embodies a culture of mutual care, shared learning, and regional collaboration, empowering fellows to drive positive change both locally and globally.
