We Love Reading conducted a two-day training session on June at the Ladies’ Charity Association Tabarbour Abu Alia area in Amman. The training covered various topics, including techniques for reading aloud to children, the importance of reading, book selection criteria, and practical applications.
trainer, Ghufran Abu Dayyeh, presented the success stories of the We Love Reading ambassadors and the change they made in their local community.
“The children’s enthusiasm went beyond the first story, as they eagerly requested more readings.” This was expressed by one of the participants during the training session. Some ambassadors shared how reading helped them overcome challenges in interacting with children by employing a different approach: reading aloud in a loud and engaging manner to enhance enjoyment.”
Additionally, we introduced the We Love Reading digital community platform, which allows ambassadors to register and interact with one another. Through this platform, they can share information about their reading sessions, and volunteering opportunities, and engage in various activities. The attendees comprised mothers, teachers, and students from different age groups who highly praised the training.
