UNESCO recently added We Love Reading to their Effective Literacy and Numeracy Practices Database.
LitBase offers over 200 case studies on effective youth and adult literacy programmes from more than 70 countries. LitBase was created in response to the demand for examples of effectively designed and executed programmes to serve as models for the development and improvement of literacy initiatives. It also fulfils a demand for collecting and disseminating information on effective or promising literacy programs for youth and adults.
We Love Reading is proud to be featured amongst others in their publications. To read more about We Love Reading and other wonderful literacy programs around the world, as well as to learn more about the recipients of UNESCO’s literacy prizes, visit the LitBase website.
