Another amazing week at the interactive bookfair organized by the Ministry of Culture, our inspiring ambassadors at we We Love Reading have been participating and holding a special reading-aloud session for children during the book fair.
Lilas from Irbid city our youngest reading ambassador to participate book fair who’s 17 years old has said: ”I was extremely happy and excited to read for children and I was nervous at first but the experience has given me a self-confidence boost and I want to keep participating in such an event.”
However, Lilas isn’t the only young ambassador to be participating in the book fair, our other ambassador from Al-Mafraq Raghad Abu Saleh 18 years old has also been a part of the book fair and held a reading session in Mafraq last week.
This participation come hand in hand with the National Reading campaign we have launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture in order to change mindsets through reading to create a change-makers.
During this campaign many of our amazing ambassadors have been initiating or creating new ideas, for ex: our ambassador Mohammad Qata’an in Mafraq started to make doll looks like the stories characters.
And our Ambassador in Ajloun sewed a hat that inspired by the hat Dr. Rana used to wear when she started reading to children at the very beginning of the program.
Dr. Rana Dajani the We Love Reading founder has expressed her happiness and pride of our amazing ambassadors who have been participating in the book fair event.
