Farah Ghoul is an International Relations bachelor’s student at ELTE University in Hungary. She’s interested in postcolonial theory, liberation movements, social justice, and the politics of knowledge.
Her research examines the limits of institutional responses to crisis, including the gap between policy, international resolutions, and lived realities. She turns toward grassroots forms of community-building, embodied knowledge, and cultural production to observe how communities challenge systems of power.
During her internship, she contributes to research initiatives on grassroots community resilience and institutional archival projects.
In Farah’s words:
“Language and research methodologies play a crucial part in shaping public perceptions. I’m excited to take part in WLR’s initiatives and become involved in bottom-up research that contributes to tangible change.”
We are excited to welcome Farah to the team and look forward to the thoughtful perspectives, creativity, and passion she will bring to the We Love Reading community. 💙
